On our latest episode of Game Changers, we had the pleasure of speaking with one of only six women to play men’s professional ice hockey.
Kelly Dyer Hayes is a game changer in the sport of ice hockey in more ways than one.
She is a former team USA women’s ice hockey goalie, a four time member of the US women’s national ice hockey team (1990, ’91, ’94 and ’95) earning three World Championship silver medals.
After retiring from her pro hockey career, she continued to change the game of hockey by designing the first set of hockey gear specifically for female athletes.
A three sport athlete who also played soccer and lacrosse, Kelly is an inductee of the Northeastern University athletics Hall of Fame.
